Tennis & Paddle

Knickerbocker Country Club has four Har Tru tennis and four platform tennis courts, kept in excellent condition and regularly maintained to ensure top performance. For spectators, we offer lounge access to watch the action in comfort. Our Pro Shop is available for all equipment and apparel needs.

Our tennis season runs from April through October.  Organized paddle tennis runs from October through March.

For competitive players, the Club participates in multiple leagues (inter-club team play) for both men and women. The Club fields several women’s teams and one men’s team, and also offers programming for juniors. These teams include players of all levels from beginner to advanced.

For those wanting to play socially, our extensive programs offer multiple activities for all skill levels including clinics, socials, mixers, Cardio Tennis, Pro-Am and Member/Guest events, open play and much more.

In addition, private and group lessons are offered by our Professional Staff for juniors and adults. Our Clinics utilize the USTA 10-&-Under Method (red, orange, green and yellow balls) for proper skills development through drills and games. A mixture of learning and fun keeps all of our players engaged! Juniors can participate in the Junior Team Tennis, an inter-club competitive program. Plus, customized tennis-themed parties are available for all ages.
